"A letter to the wife of a chiropractor."
"I am writing this letter to the wife of a chiropractor because I, too, am the wife of a chiropractor. My husband, Robert, graduated from chiropractic college and found what he thought would be a great associate position. He spent one full year at this clinic and did not receive any of the coaching that was implied at the signing of his contract. Instead, Robert became frustrated and discouraged; his spirit was broken and the pay was measly. Our relationship became strained. I resented Robert in many ways because I had worked hard and sacrificed a lot to put him through chiropractic school without any student loans.
"We were disappointed in both our situation and in chiropractic."
"Robert decided to open his own practice in November 2000. Our newborn daughter at that time was 2 months old; our older daughter was 20 months old. We were scared and unsure of what to do. Would we make it on our own? We both thought that ownership was the best way to go because we could make our own decisions. We were working for ourselves now and were prepared to work hard; however, that is where a new kind of strain in our relationship presented itself. We both had good ideas, but no system, no process and no consistency. We were doing better than the previous year but our family was being pulled apart. We had no time to enjoy each other.
"A good friend of ours who graduated with Robert mentioned that he had joined Five Star Management, and his practice was taking off. I was skeptical, of course. I needed to know more. We asked him questions to compare and contrast a number of areas such as patient visits, patient processing, income and happiness since he started with Five Star. Can you really measure happiness? Well, we could as we listened to that young chiropractor's voice. He had been changed, and that was all we needed to know. We called Dr. Noel Lloyd, got all of our questions answered so we felt comfortable with our decision, and signed up with Five Star Management on April 26, 2001.
"In less than one month with Five Star, our practice completely turned around!"
"When was the last time you really felt like you won? Sometimes a leap of faith is needed in order to win. There’s no risk in calling Dr. Noel Lloyd. What you hear could change your life. I love my husband dearly; he is the most outstanding person I know. We have never been so happy and respectful to each other because we are winning, our patients are winning and chiropractic is THRIVING in our own home and our own practice!"
Sincerely,
Mrs. Sharon Amis
