Good morning I’m in Hawaii in Honolulu and in the Presidents Suite at the Hyatt. There’s Diamond Head over my right ear. You can see the sun coming up and I’m going to see if I can get a little bit better light for this shot. There we go.
Last night we got together for a Galaxy event and we had all these wonderful families. I’ve gotten to know, there’s one young woman, and her name is Kyrie. I’ve coached her through 5 maternity leaves. Her 5 great kids were here. There’s another young man that I know. I’ve helped him with his practice when he was an associate and then also when he got his own place. He had his 4 lovely daughters here. There are other couples that I’ve known and one fella I’ve coached for over 25 years. This blog this morning is about the value of wonderful friends in chiropractic.
I can’t tell you the number of times that I have been at tables someplace and it could be someplace that’s rather common. Common not in the bad sense, but I do it all the time in Seattle. I’m sitting around the table with great chiropractors and I’m thinking isn’t this wonderful. Here we are, we all support chiropractic, we all support each other, we’re all in pursuit of helping more people, having more fun, and being more successful and we can be together in that fellowship.
I’ve been in some of the best places on the planet, whether it’s Paris or London or New York or San Francisco and I’ve had a chance to sit with other chiropractors. Chicago area and I take a look around the table because I’m the coach I know everybody’s story, right? And so I know what this young man has worked for and I know what this young woman has worked for and this guy who’s a little bit older I know how hard he’s worked. I’ve raised a glass and I’ve said, “Here’s to you guys and here’s to chiropractic.”
So, what’s the take away? I don’t know that there’s a giant takeaway other than you owe it to yourself and to chiropractic to fill your life richly with wonderful people who love what you love and who are in pursuit of helping more people, building better and more practices, helping associates do the same. People who are also fun to be with, I mean they’re just fun. I want to do this in a way that’s fun and enjoyable. Then number 3 to be successful. You know we’re so fortunate, we’re so blessed and we give absolutely dynamite, great healthcare and we are rewarded handsomely for it.
Help people, have fun, be successful, and do that in the support and the wonderful company of great chiropractic friends.
And by the way I’m here right now in Honolulu and tonight at dinner I’ll probably propose a toast. Here’s to chiropractic and here’s to you guys.
This is Dr. Noel Lloyd for Five Star Management and for you having a wonderful time with great people in chiropractic care.
